Damon’s eyes narrowed a little when she mentioned that before he pulled back, “I think you’re going to be okay. I don’t think you’ll be bleeding to death anytime soon anyway.”

“Yeah, I’m glad she is okay. I know hers put her in the hospital. Did you get the vampire who did it?”she asked. Veronica didn’t want to push his buttons, she was mostly curious. Damon was a good friend, even more now that he had saved her, at least in her opinion. 

“Considering it was her ex boyfriend I don’t think killing him would make her the happiest person in the world,” Damon said with a sigh, “So no. From what Stefan told me Chuck’s trying to control it.”
